Understanding AgriSmart’s Health & Safety Features
Here at AgriSmart we provide our clients with an extensive range of features to ensure your farm, orchard, or vineyard is fully compliant with Health & Safety requirements.
To assist our clients with understanding what range of Health & Safety features they require we have broken all of our features down into three different levels, ‘The Essentials’, ‘The Works’, and ‘The Suite’.
These three levels are not subscription plans but rather combinations of features we recommend adopting together. You are not restricted in any way to a set plan, instead we enable you to have complete control of which features you adopt.
Furthermore, towards the bottom of this page you find a pricing calculator which helps you to visualise how much your monthly cost will be to utilise your chosen features.
‘The Essentials’
AgriSmart’s ‘Essential’ Health & Safety recommendations include the Risk Register, Incident Register, and Inductions.
This combination will provide you with everything you need to begin implementing a successful Health & Safety system into your agribusiness.
Incidents Register
Keeping in alignment with WorkSafe NZ and the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015, AgriSmart’s Incidents Register follows all the correct recording processes and makes it easy through digital recording to file incidents correctly.
This seamless and easy recording process allows for clear audit trails and ease of overseeing where and how frequently incidents are occurring within your agribusinesses operations.
Risk Register
When using traditional methods to record risks within the workplace, it can be complex and time-consuming. With AgriSmart’s Risk Register this hassle is completely removed and all your agribusinesses’ employees are able to record risks as they arise.
These risks are all stored digitally and are accessible at any time, enabling them to be added into your site inductions using just a few clicks.
These risks, once a part of the inductions can be quickly sent out to employee’s to make them aware of the new risk.
Inductions
AgriSmart’s inductions are fully digital and ensure every employee, contractor, and any visitors are aware of any risks upon entering your property.
As a result of AgriSmart’s inductions being fully digital that means that there are easily accessible records of all your created inductions that are securely stored in your licence for referral whenever you require them.
‘The Works’
AgriSmart’s ‘The Works’ recommendation includes everything from Essential’s but take your Health & Safety system to the next level.
This grouping of features include, Toolbox Meetings, Information Categories for Inductions, Digital Maps, Emergency Procedures, Tasks, and an Equipment Register.
The above combination of features combined with those from ‘The Essentials’ group will provide you with a comprehensive Health & Safety module to thoroughly organise your agribusiness and ensure you are further compliant with Health & Safety requirements.
Toolbox Meetings
Record and sort all your toolbox meeting notes in one secure place using AgriSmart. All information and discussions can be input into the Health & Safety module for storage and easy referral at a later date.
The toolbox meeting feature also allows for the removal of paper recording, you can note down the details of your meetings using a device, click save, and get on with your day.
Information Category
(Inductions Add-On)
Information categories are an add-on feature to AgriSmart’s induction feature. This add-on allows you to add general pieces of information to then include within the inductions you send out to contractors, employees, and any visitors.
Expanding your inductions beyond just identified risks and enabling your agribusiness to create a more thorough site induction.
Digital Maps
AgriSmart’s Digital Maps are an excellent feature for outlining your farm or orchard right down to the paddock/block. This feature gives you an excellent visualisation of your farm where you can then mark visually where risks are located, incidents could occur, and more.
These maps can then be included as a part of the induction process so contractors, employees, and visitors can see where these markings are located on the farm/orchard.
Equipment Register
The Equipment Register feature enables you to accurately store records and information for each piece of equipment utilised throughout your agribusiness.
Maintenance guides can be uploaded to each piece of equipment, people who use the equipment can log their usage, those same people can leave for comments for review relating to parts that may require fixing, and all maintenance documentation can be filed and saved within our cloud-based server.
Tasks
AgriSmart’s Health & Safety Tasks feature enables you to assign H&S related tasks to employees for completion. This feature enables you to track the progress of the set tasks and once completed the employee can mark it off as completed.
Emergency Procedures
Within AgriSmart’s Health & Safety module you have the ability to choose to include the Emergency Procedures feature.
This feature enables you to outline and record all your appropriate documentation related to emergencies which can then easily be accessed by your employees at any time.
‘The Suite’
AgriSmart’s ‘The Suite’ recommendation is absolutely everything we have to offer related to Health & Safety. The below features combined with the previous two levels above (‘The Essentials’ & ‘The Works’) provide your agribusiness with the full package ensuring you have all the necessary tools to become fully complaint with Health & Safety requirements and beyond.
By adopting all of AgriSmart’s Health & Safety features you are able to go beyond the basic Health & Safety requirements set by WorkSafe NZ and the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 and begin to incorporate complete Health & Safety protocol into your operational procedures.
Hazardous Substances
Within AgriSmart’s Health & Safety module we have a feature which provides you with the ability to upload and maintain a list of substances, usage guides, volumes, active ingredients, and and additional information.
This ensures that all hazardous substance information is easily accessible and easily maintainable. Due to AgriSmart’s cloud-based system it also means the information remains securely stored within your licence and you no longer have to stress about maintaining paper records.
Multi-Choice Quiz
(Inductions Add-On)
The Multi-Choice Quiz is an add-on feature to AgriSmart’s inductions feature. This add-on allows you to create fully customised questionnaires that can also have an assigned pass rate.
Once created with the intention to have the quiz added into your site inductions.
Expanding your inductions beyond something that these groups just glance over and ensuring the information is actually taken onboard.
Checklists
One of the most beneficial features within AgriSmart’s Health & Safety module is the Checklist feature. This feature enables your agribusiness to create a list of requirements that employees must check off before using a piece of equipment or during a task.
The checklist can be assigned to an individual employee or shared amongst a team using AgriSmart. Once these have been completed the checklist gets timestamped and comments can be added by the individual/team for review at a later date.
Team Member Timelines
With the Team Member Timeline feature a clear historical timeline is established to easily access incidents the team member has been involved in, what inductions they have completed, risks reported by the employee, skill level updates, and much more.
These timelines can be filtered to the specific topics you are wishing to look into for that employee, creating the perfect system for easy record searching and an easily deciphering tool for employee-specific health & safety records.
Team Member Skills
Within AgriSmart’s system we have a comprehensive feature that enables you to outline and set each team members skill level related to a specific task they may undertake on a day-to-day basis.
This feature also has an easy-to-understand format which provides you full transparency as to what employees are more suited for specific tasks over others, enabling you to make informed decisions and allocate responsibility accordingly.
