The Quarterly by AgriSmart

Edition 3

Hi there,

Before we delve into the contents of this newsletter, we would again like to send our thoughts out to all those affected by Cyclone Gabrielle. We have been in contact with several clients impacted by the horrific weather events over the last quarter and learnt about the massive clean-up task they are tirelessly working through. The team here at AgriSmart would like to further reassure our clients we are available to help in any way we can.

We are now three editions into our AgriSmart quarterly newsletter (now renamed, “The Quarterly by AgriSmart”) and there is plenty to report from our office here at Waikato Innovation Park.

So as per usual, take 5, grab a coffee or tea, and enjoy reading through edition no.3! As always, if you have any questions or feedback, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re always here to help!

The CEO’s letter

Where did the time go? I’m sure you will be saying something very similar. The start of 2023 has been less than ideal for our farmers and growers across numerous regions of New Zealand. It seems that if it’s not the never-ending list of jobs, it’s the weather attempting to sabotage our every move.

On a more positive note, the developers here at AgriSmart have knuckled down to complete a large number of features and updates, making it more tailored for each client’s needs.

Our support team has been hard at work onboarding several large clients, ensuring everything goes smoothly for them once their licences are live. A huge thank you to our support team for their work as we know it has been a massive undertaking for them.

Looking ahead we have an exciting calendar planned with several conferences that we will be attending, a big feature in the works for our horticulture clients, and many more announcements.

As always we would like to show our continuing appreciation to all of our clientele. AgriSmart’s software wouldn’t be the product it is today without your loyalty, utility, and feedback.

Kind regards,

Imran Raza, CEO & Founder of AgriSmart

Payroll Software for Horticulture: What to Keep in Mind

With so many tasks to manage, it can be easy to miss important details or make mistakes that could result in legal or financial issues. To streamline your payroll process and reduce the risk of errors, you may want to consider implementing a fit-for-purpose payroll software into your agribusiness.

AgriSmart Dashboard: The Hub of Our Software

One of the key benefits of such a solution is its dashboard, which provides a single point of reference for all of your workforce management needs.

Payroll Systems Modernise Agribusiness Invoicing

Invoicing clients has traditionally been a time-consuming process for businesses, especially when it comes to data collection and creating accurate invoices with that data. However, by utlising a payroll software solution and the automatically generated payroll data, this process can be made significantly easier.

AgriSmart Updates & Features

New Help Centre

As you may have seen we are excited to announce that your AgriSmart licence now includes a searchable help centre containing all documentation in an easy to find directory.

Additionally, you are now able to submit a ticket for assistance from our support team. We encourage you utilise this function for any non-urgent support queries.

The new help centre can be located in the same spot where help documentation has been traditionally located, by clicking the question mark icon within your licence.

A New Way of Accessing AgriSmart

We have simplified the process of inviting users to access AgriSmart. Our clients can now easily send access emails and users can activate and login to their accounts without any hassle.

Automated Work Patterns

This feature is used for businesses where it’s difficult to determine what an employee’s work pattern is due to an ever-changing roster, which potentially results in incorrect annual leave entitlement calculations.

AgriSmart now has the ability to calculate this correctly, ensuring the employee is paid the correct number of annual leave days per year.

Leave Application Process

The team at AgriSmart have now improved the leave application process within your AgriSmart licence, as well as, on the AgriSmart iOS and Android app. It is now simpler and straight-forward for both managers and employees.

Meet the Team

We are an expanding team, and we pride ourselves on keeping everything in-house to ensure the delivery of a quality software solution.

As a continuation of our previous newsletters, we are continuing ‘Meet the Team’ with out Finance Manager, Hannah Raza.
